"We went to the theatre of the Grésilles in Dijon on Thursday, March 16th. The trip lasted 50 minutes and we went by tramway. Our class was accompanied by Mrs Dumont and Mrs El Ouahnachi. The title of the play was “King Arthur, the sword from the stone”. There were 3 actors : 2 French and one American. The topic of the play was how King Arthur becomes King after having removed the sword from the stone.
Merlin entrusts Arthur to Sir Ector who already has a son named Kay. Arthur’s father is King Uther who’s dead. When he is a teenager, Arthur wants to know who his parents are. Kay and Arthur go to London for a tournament but Kay forgot his sword so Arthur goes to look for one and finds Excalibur : the sword that only the son of King Uther can remove. Many have tried but only Arthur succeeds and becomes King."

"On Thursday the 16th March, 2017, we went to see a play that tells the story of King Arthur. It is entitled “King Arthur, the sword from the stone”. The 3 actors are Stephane Otero, one American and 2 French, Quentin Moriot and Mathieu Becquerelle. Merlin confides Arthur to Sir Ector who has already a son named Kay, a very active boy. At this moment Arthur is still a baby whose biological father is King Uther who died at war. A few years later, Kay and Arthur went to London for the New Year’s tournament(induced by Merlin). Kay, due to his awkwardness forgot his sword and sent Arthur to find one. Arthur found a sword in a stone and decided to borrow it. Then he became King Arthur because the sword was Excalibur, so he understood he was Uther’s son as only his son could remove it from the stone. Personally I find it important to know about history and the story of King Arthur, who as a young man grew up without really knowing who he was."

"The play took place on March 16th, 2017 in the theatre of Les Grésilles in Dijon. We went on foot and by tramway with lines T2 and T1. The duration of the transport was 50 minutes. We were 23 pupils of 1M.S. and there was Mrs Dumont and Mrs El Ouahnachi too. The title of the play was “King Arthur, the sword from the stone”. There were 3 actors (two French and one American). It was the story of Arthur who became King after having removed a sword from a stone. At the beginning of the play, Arthur was with his adoptive father. Merlin entrusted Arthur to Sir Ector who had a son called Kay. Arthur wants to know who his parents are. Kay and Arthur went to London for a tournament. Kay forgot his sword, then Arthur goes and searches one and falls on Excalibur that only the son of King Uther will be able to take. Many try but only Arthur succeeds and becomes King. For us, it was very interesting because the actors speak both in English and French so it was easy to understand."
